From the simple pride of having the most amazing looking vehicle to preparing for a show or even getting the highest value when selling, our Concours Detail Service is aimed at giving your vehicle the ultimate finish.
What work we do for the Concours Detail varies widely from customer to customer and vehicle to vehicle as we look to provide exactly what is needed. However, there are usually 4 main stages which, broadly, include:- A gentle citrus based pre-wash treatment and rinse of the exterior of your car (including wheels)
- A thorough clean of the wheels using a ph balanced solution
- A foaming of the exterior of your car using a cleaning and conditioning agent followed by a rinse
- A wash of the outside of your car and wheels using a high quality shampoo and lambs wool mitt
- A rinse and hand dry of your car
- Cleaning of door and boot shuts
- Removal of any remaining bugs and tar from the paintwork
- Interior and exterior glass cleaning
- Thorough interior vacuuming
- Carpet cleansing
- Leather cleaning using a pH balanced solution
- Additional attention to every part of the vehicle from rubber seals to petrol caps and spare wheels
- An extended examination of your vehicle's current interior and exterior condition including the recording of paint depth readings using an electronic gauge
- An exterior claying to remove surface contaminants and leave the paintwork beautifully smooth
- An additional hand wash, rinse and dry of the exterior of the car
- Initial paintwork cleansing to prepare for any paintwork correction
- Extensive multi-step exterior paintwork correction (including any necessary machine polishing) to remove/reduce unsightly swirls and light scratches*
- Interior and exterior vinyl and rubber rejuvenation
- Cleaning and polishing of any chrome/aluminium surfaces
- Paintwork cleansing to further enhance the gloss and to ensure that the sealants/wax bond correctly
* Paintwork correction can take many forms but the important thing is that what is done is appropriate for your vehicle. We can normally make a substantial improvement to the appearance of your car's paintwork but if we think that something is beyond standard correction then we'll let you know straight away - we prefer a careful and considered approach to car detailing rather than, as some seem to do, machining out every blemish regardless of whether that endangers the long term finish of your vehicle.

As it is possible for us to spend days or even a week or more getting some vehicles in the best possible condition, we'll always thoroughly discuss what you want and what we think you will need before starting. A quote will then be provided and assuming nothing changes with your vehicle in the meantime, that is precisely what it will cost!
We promise that there will never be any hidden costs and that we'll always take the best possible care of your vehicle.
