JDs Paint Correction Services
After spending a lot of time reviewing the correction services (machine polishing) that we offer we have decided to make a few changes!
Most detailers (and we were guilty of this too) talk about 1 stage, 2 stage, 3 stage correction, etc. but what does this really mean? Sadly, there is no industry standard for what to expect and we were often finding that what we quoted as 2 stage correction went an awful lot further than other companies.
In an attempt to make everything clearer and simpler for everyone, we now offer just 3 named services with clear definitions for each.

The pricing below is for machine polishing only. Paint correction services can only be provided in conjunction with a Studio, Showroom or Concours detail which allow for the professional preparation and finishing required.
Refine Correction
This service is usually priced from £ 65.00 to £ 125.00 (inc VAT) depending on car type/condition.
The Refine Correction is literally aimied at refining the paint finish on your car. Typically we will use a combination of light polishes and/or heavy duty cleansers which are machine polished into the exterior paintwork with every panel being treated 1 or 2 times as required.

This service is suitable for any car but is ideal for daily drives, topping up a previous detail or preparing for sale.
Revive Correction
This service is usually priced from £ 110.00 to £ 275.00 (inc VAT) depending on car type/condition.
The Revive Correction is designed to get at much deeper marks than the Refine Correction. Typically we will use a medium to medium-heavy polish and machine this once or twice on to each panel as required. We'll then follow this up with the "Refine" process to ensure that the finish looks stunning.

Restore Correction
This service is usually priced from £ 245.00 to £ 635.00 (inc VAT) depending on car type/condition.
The Restore Correction is designed to remove/reduce as many marks as possible. Typically, we will use multiple rounds of heavy compounding and follow this with both the Revive and Refine correction processes. We'll take even more extensive depth readings at the start and as we work to ensure that the paint is never endangered.
Put simply, this level of service provides the best correction available!

This service can be used on any car but is ideally suited to concours, restoration projects or just for people who demand the absolute best!
We can discuss wet sanding as an addiitonal service if there are particularly deep marks that need to be removed.* The actual results will vary depending on the car paintwork type and current condition. All correction work will be thoroughly discussed with you before we start work and a fixed price quote provided.
We can usually provide estimates of the cost involved over the phone once we have discussed your car and what you require, but we never provide a final price until we have thoroughly inspected your vehicle.
That said, as we don't charge for inspections or quotations, there really is nothing to lose in dropping us a line.
